The Super Specialty Cancer Institute and Hospital is an upcoming state of the art cancer centre that was envisaged by government of Uttar Pradesh under the guidance of leading cancer specialists of India, to provide comprehensive, under one roof facility for cancer management and undertaking cancer related research work and education.
The sprawling hundred-acre campus is gearing up to provide treatment facility with 750 beds in the first phase and total 1250 beds in the second phase of its commissioning.

Up cancer patient now not need to move major cities for treatment, while from all over the country 
people will approach to city for treatment which could also boost the hospitality sector nearby.

It would have a 300 bed intensive care unit (ICU) as well as 30 ultra-modern operation theatres. Medanta Group chairman and heart specialist Dr Naresh Trehan is expected to be present at the foundation laying function. Dr Trehan said, “We have been supporting the poor patients in Gurugram and we shall do the same here too,” he said. Dr RK Saran, cardiologist with Medanta, said the efforts would be made to facilitate the BPL patients via insurance at CGHS rates.
